It’s been awhile since I’ve done something mostly watercolor, without stamps or embossing, etc. So, why not a watercolor garden! I started by sketching, then watercoloring the flower doodles. Then I outlined the flowers with a Sharpie, painted the background, then added details/marks with a sharpie, a black gel pen, and a white gel pen. I also used some Distress Crayons to add shadows to the flowers, and edge the journal pages.
The quote is from Audrey Hepburn (go figure…). I printed it on my inkjet using (font called My Underwood).
Supplies
Here are the supplies I used:
- Dylusions small journal
- Watercolors (I used Grumbacher)
- White and black gel pens
- Distress Crayons (Black Soot, Walnut Stain)
- Sharpie
I love your pages! They make me feel happy! Your work is wonderful and so colorful! Fantatsic! Thanks for joining us this week on Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog! Barbara
